"GREAT SERVICE"

Thank you for your recent follow up letter after my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Service.  This is my 6th or 7th purchase from LHM over the past 15 or more years, so my return business seems secure.  This return business is not secure because of fantastic sales experiences, but rather the way I am treated after the sell by the service departments.  Few people are disappointed when they drive off in a shiny new vehicle with unforgettable smells, and welcomed looks of admiration offered by passersby. 
What a new or in this case, used car buyer does have a problem with is when that vehicle has problems.  The first time i purchased a vehicle from LHM and it had a problem, I recalled the nightmares of my service experiences of the past with other dealers, and projected those experiences onto what I expected from the next experience.  That was until I met Todd Makin, and those fears diminished.  Todd has been a glowing example of what service experiences can be.  My perspective is that for the time Todd has my vehicle it is treated like his vehicle.  I get a clear estimate of what my costs will be, regular service status update calls, and most importantly, the vehicle is done on or before the expected completion time.
I live in South Jordan, so my obvious service location is the Sandy LHM Jeep Dodge location, and that has been my default.  This time when the Dodge blew a fuel line and I called Sandy, I was saddened to hear Todd had relocated.  When it came time to have my vehicle towed for service I called Todd (he has given me his cell phone number), and the fact that I would be 25 miles from my vehicle was not even a consideration.  I did not know Todd was now a service manager and no longer a service writer, he did not tell me or push me off to a service writer, and took full ownership of my issue without a hint of complaint.
Todd has migrated from that good guy at LHM to someone I call and consider a friend.  He is a critical component of my ongoing relationship with LHM, and I am pleased to witness his career advance within your organization.  He is a critical component to the LHM success story. 

PS - It should also be noted:  Less than a week after we purchased the Dodge Ram we purchased a 2002 Jeep Liberty for my wife.  The next day an injector failed.  I drove it into service and to my surprise when I came to pick up the Jeep, the repairs had been paid for by LHM.  I was told "We will not make you pay for something we should have caught".

Just wanted to send you this card to say Thank You for all the help you gave me and my family.  You are a true friend.  This was the first time in our lives that we felt 100% comfortable with the car buying process, and you had better believe that you will be our "Car Guy" for life.  Once again, thanks so much for your help, and we love the new Jeep!

"Very Good Service"

I appreciated the service I received  even though I can a week later than I thought I would.  I had researched my purchase and knew what I wanted. Shaun was very good to work with buying this car I have taken a trip in it and am pleased with my dodge caliber performance.(good mpg)  The cargo area has been just what I need and the leg room gets a thumbs up from my boys(all over 6ft).I also appreciate the person that noticed that I did not live close to bountiful and fed ex my license plates to me, very good service.

"Great Vehicle"

Hi Shaun, It's a pleasure to hear from you again. We are exceptionally happy with the Liberty and with the help you and others at Miller gave us.  After more than 1,400 miles and a month of driving, my wife Cory and I have no complaints and all praise for the 2009 Liberty we purchased from Miller Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge in Bountiful. We call it our Black Beauty. I have always preferred Jeeps over other vehicles, but this takes the cake. I am impressed with the way it handles, the amount of power it delivers, the smoothness of the ride and its overall comfort level.
